Prices of Eastern European paraffins have remained on the same level as in the previous month, or have slightly increased. Most paraffins are available.

The reformed EU’s "Generalised Scheme of Preferences" (GSP) will apply as of 1 January 2014, resulting in higher customs duties of certain waxes.

The supply of some Western European paraffin waxes has been dramatically in shortage for a number of months.

Prices of palm waxes have been increasing for a few months and are still climbing higher. We expect a possible reversal of this trend only in March/April.
